Biography:
Initiated by the musician
Fabien Guilloteau (Rutabaga), LA ZIKABILO plays the mix of genders. After
having performed in acoustic in the streets during big international festivals,
LA ZIKABILO is as well convincing on the stage. Cuban Barbaro Teuntor Garcia, singer and trumpet
placer, gives his music roots (Afro Cuban All Stars, Buena Vista Social Club,
Sierra Maestra). The band explores the latino repertory without forgetting their
jazz influences jazz, New Orléans and their Gypsy love. A mix of brass instruments,
accordéon and percussions. Atmosphere muy caliente !
Created in Anjou (France) in 2002, La Zikabilo was
immediately successful. The artists will open borders, notably in meeting with
the Romanian band Lui Craciun with whom them did a tour in Romania and in Germany. This is when it became
artistically obvious to meet and cross genders in order to open doors and
experiences and share them abroad.
Their new album is getting
prepared, recorded and mixed recently in the Studio Balloon Farm in Rennes, France.

Jackson THELEMAQUE is based in Paris (France) // Contact Pro : no manager yet
Biography: Based nowadays in France,
Jackson Thélémaque is from Haiti,
earth of revolt and country of Voodoo. He arrived in Paris when he as 10. Coming from his Haitian
village to the French capital was a shock. Today his music is the fruit of this
shock.
After the heartquake, Jackson
went back to Haiti.
He came back with a new music project where Creale is the core. On a vocal
rhythm base, melodies are superposing, crossing each other and bang together. The
Voodoo songs are melting with slam, beatbox and urban melodies. Haitian drums mixe with
an instinctive electric guitar. With his sample pedals
and instruments, he develops a refine trance, talking to us deep inside. The urban
spell is working on… Let yourself be bewitched!
